The Nintendo Wii: A Success Story
The Nintendo Wii is a gaming console brought out by Nintendo which was released on 19th November 2006 to much acclaims. It was launched to compete with the leading consoles of the time, the Xbox and the Playstation. But the Wii ended up doing more than just be another games console, it crept into ourl lives like no concole has done before - turning it into a fitness devices as well as a games device. You can practise yoga on it, play tennis and bowling on it - with friends and family, or on your own. As a seventh generation console, the Wii was the first of its type to have a wireless controller - the Wii Remote is which is strapped on to the user's hand and is used as a pointing deviceand detects movement in three dimensions. It allows the gamer to control the game using physical gestures, so a tennis game will be played with the user actually mimicking the movement of the racquet. Nintendo wii sale The wii console sits as a sensor to the remote. It also has the feature of WiiConnect24 which allows the console to receive messages and updates over the internet even in the standby mode. With 512 megabytes of internal flash memory, it can upload photos as well as save game data. Nintendo wii for sale The menu was designed to be like tv channels - using the wii remote to navigate, the user is able to flip, switch and change details all with a flick of the wrist. Nintendo wii console Both men and women were marketed - it was the first console at the time that could attract both markets. Wii parties started to be held, women exercised on Wii Fit. For a console to be considered suitable material to exercise was a new thing. The Nintendo Wii is now used by kids, teens, grown ups, families - it's guilt free gaming and a great chance to bond. The Wii stands alone in the market.
making nikon speedlight sb-600 as remote flash, but turning off the D90's flash. is it possible?
I have a D90 and a Nikon Speedlight SB-600. I'd like to treat the Speedlight as a wireless remote flash and turn off the built in flash with the D90. Is this possible?
Thanks
Yes. Steps to follow:
1. Go to menu
2. Go to custom settings menu (the pen icon)
3. Scroll down until you find "e2 Flash cntrl for built-in flash"
4. Change to Commander Mode and turn built-in flash power to "--"
That's all you need to do.
Hope this helps.
