Canon EOS 60D Is Great Upgrade From Canon Rebel XT
I mainly upgraded for the Canon EOS 60D for the ergonomics and found over the last few months that your flip out screen is actually great when put away in order to protect the screen. if your screen is out of sight it may help you learn (like the idea did me) to spray confidently in manual style without reviewing photos immediately after capture. It has additionally helped me become really efficient at adjusting shutter, iso, and aperture settings about the fly under changing light conditions in manual mode.
I have large hands and wrists, this Canon 60D is convenient than any Rebel. the actual fps is good, but i'm not only a machine gun shooter, therefore whatever.
"L" lenses feel better even more balanced than with this Rebel line. I also think impression quality is slightly a lot better than the t2i, just my estimation.
Canon doesn't market this as being weather sealed, but it will exist. Not as much for a 1D camera or your 7D, but seals do exist..just google the diagram. I have used this in heavy rain confidently, no issues so way.
battery lasts FOREVER. I can go using a 3 day trip without having to dig through my suitcase for any charger, even after many of shots. I also love the energy save mode which doesn't require you to physically turn the camera off, EVER. The power switch can be set to the "on" location.
Build quality is outstanding, I don't really know why consumers are fussing about it being created from polycarbonate. This is the identical material Magpul magazines are created from. Its less when compared with 1k, what do everyone expect? I consider it the steal for what you leave this camera. Its virtually a 7D without the fps along with a few gucci features.
despite the presence of the Canon EOS 60D, i'm still saving up for that 5Dmk3 whenever it happens. The 60D will in that case become my backup.
