The A/c does not work and the sunroof does not work, but it does not leak. Also mechanicaly the car runs great. The a/c needs a commpresor( $600-800) but then again, if you buy this car you probably are just looking for basic transportation and that won't be a problem. So what do you think, thanks!

**'56 ****Ford Custom Sedan**
**My first "nice" car was a 1956 Ford Custom Sedan that we bought in 1957. It
had about 9,000 miles on it and was in excellent condition. It was seafoam
green with a white top and a V-8 engine. My wife, Carole, and I were married
the previous year after I got out of the U.S. Navy, and we came to Florida
from Michigan. I got a job as a mechanic with an airline in Miami in September
1956, and finished my probation before we purchased the car. I started out at
$1.98 per hour. Later, I transferred to the maintenance shops overhauling
propeller governors and synchronizer boxes for the Lockheed, Convair and
Martin propeller aircraft. The 1956 Ford had a conventional set of ignition
points and condenser. I took a set of used points from an aircraft magneto
