I'm going to be using a Digital SLR, but I found this film one... Any thoughts?
Here is the link: http://www.adorama.com/US%20%20%20%20321598.html
I do have lenses for it, as my aunt was a professional photographer back in the day. She did use Minolta 35mm cameras, so i've done my homework on the compatibility and all that. However, if I do happen to be wrong, you can all laugh at me =]
I'm planning on buying a Sony Alpha Digital SLR in a few months to entertain me during college, and I plan on using my Minolta lenses in addition to the included Sony lenses. I say this so that we understand that I'm going to use the lenses no matter what. I just saw this film camera on Adorama and thought it might be kinda fun to learn to use one of these. Plus, its always nice to have a good film camera around. There are things you can do with film that i've never seen done with digital. Plus, no pixelation!
anyway, any thoughts on this camera? Any recommendations on any accessories, extra lenses, bags, etc? thanks in advance.
Film SLRs and their set could cost you under $500, even.
And it could be a good one with good lenses.
See, film cameras are a lot cheaper. But overall, the price of film and such adds up, and DSLRs are cheaper in the long run, as long as you don't update so often.
